12 A Winning Partnership: Lake County and Waste Management Waste Management’s current collection contract term expires 9/30/2014. The contract allows for additional 5-year terms WM is willing and able to renegotiate current collection agreement with any level of services desired now or anytime in the future. WM has an historical and successful record with Lake County of negotiating new or modified services at lower costs.
