5. About e-DISNIC e-DISNIC is an e-Governance approach
e-DISNIC is web based District Administration Portal.
Security aspects of e-DISNIC are taken care of by way of Security Audit by CERT-in empanelled auditor at NIC Head Quarter New Delhi.
e-DISNIC is hosted at IDC, NIC New Delhi and has web address and also
In e-DISNIC, user logs, password change etc. are taken care of. Many User/ System Administration reports are provided for audit purpose.

01 e-RevCourt - Web based Revenue Court Case Management & Information System for Additional Collector, SDO, Tahsildar & Circle.
02 e-Godown Management - Management & Information system related to Demand, Supply, and Distribution of food grains from CWC through Tahsil Godowns to Fair Price Shops.
03 e-Darkhast – MIS for managing the Darkhast cases of Tahsil office.
04 Jamabandi - MIS for all types of recoveries at village level.
05 e-DISNIC Administration – dealing with interlinking of different modules to end user and citizens.

01 e-Web Publication - Interface to provide information from a single portal to Government as well as public.
02 e-Election - Management & Information system related to conduct of Poll activities & establish electronic co-ordination between election office & field staff.
03 e-Pension – Convenient System for timely deposition of pension funds by means of DBT within shortest possible time.
04 e-KDMOverSMS - Kerosene Distribution Management Over SMS. MIS related to Kerosene Requisition, Route planning and Distribution to Retailer Shops.

e-DISNIC makes use of NIC’s PUSH & PULL SMS facilities for users to send the information/ data to edisnic.gov.in server as SMS and view the required information as SMS on their mobile.

11. Benefits of e-DISNIC
e-DISNIC is envisaged to accommodate wide range of software modules needed for Collector Office, Subdivision Office, Tahsil offices and any other office of district.
e-DISNIC being web based, users can work from anywhere, with just a computer and Internet. No need to install any client side software. (No need to buy even Windows OS!, works well on freeware Linux OS.)
e-DISNIC is Paperless in nature, as the related data entry can be done & the reports can be seen over Internet. Also the reports can be sent to any one via .

12. Benefits of e-DISNIC
In e-DISNIC, one can enter data/ information and generate reports in Devanagari.
In e-DISNIC, new software modules can be added seamlessly and put to use within short period of development time.
e-DISNIC makes use of the Akrutibandh of branch/ kaksha of the user office to create its users base. Every post/ designation of the Akrutibandh has role to play.

13. Benefits of e-DISNIC
In e-DISNIC, creation of new user, assignment of menus & submenus (roles) to the users is handled through separate module called e-DISNIC Administration. Users are provided with Username & Password.
Lastly e-DISNIC portal is Pro RTI - All or part of the e-DISNIC modules reports can be made available to the public for viewing via the district web site i.e. This will help the district Administration to be more proactive in disclosing information to the public, causing the spread of RTI.

14. Awards This software has following awards
National Silver Award for e-Governance, in the category "Best District level Initiative in Citizen Centric Service Delivery through ICT”
Maharashtra State e-Governance Awards Silver Medal.

15. Issues in Discussion SMS Cost per state
Till 31st March 2015, NIC’s sms facility was free and from 1st April 2015 it is paid facility. We need to give undertaking for payment for SMS state wise usage.
