7 (7) Fundamental Goals Raise student awareness about Hawaii's energy challenges and opportunities. Help them discover ways to reduce their energy consumption. See if these reductions persist even after the Kukui Cup is over. Learn how to do it better next year.

8 (8) Basic concept of the Kukui Cup A three week energy challenge: Prizes for top students and lounges Energy consumption monitored YouTube videos about energy Points, Badges, Scoreboards online Workshops, Excursions, Parties Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr For all Hale Aloha residents.

9 (9) Prizes Prizes are given: For individual with most points For lounge with most points For lounge with least energy consumed Prizes include: Lounge Pizza party Lounge Ice cream party Gift certificates to Bubbies, Bookstore iPod, Surfboard, Skateboard, etc. Swag items: t-shirts, buttons, lanyards, water bottles

10 (10) Costs and Benefits to RAs What we ask: Be positive about the competition. Put up status posters in your lounge. Login and play the game as much or as little as you like. What you get: Free t-shirt! Pre-planned, hosted events for October Possibility of winning a prize in the RA-only raffle.
