3 3 Vision To create a Cluster focus on local strategic advantages and become a “facilitator” for growth, new start ups development, promotion of the area. Overall Objective The promotion of local advantages through clustering and innovative tools in the whole agrofood business sector, branding this way the c-b area and sustain short and long term development.

4 4 Specific Objectives 1.Establishment of a network for the promotion of the already implemented activities that follow the “Local Branding” concept. 2.Development of local certification procedures for the agrofood enterprises (all sectors) in the area. 3.Development of a database that will provide all necessary information concerning the partners/members of network 4.Design & development of physical & digital nodes promoting cluster members, enhance their capacity to cooperate and strengthen cluster’s advantages. 5.Focus on the whole value chain - that is from the producer to customer- to gain productivity, lower costs and new ways to cover customers needs and communicate with them. 6.Elaboration of a Joint Strategy for the development and promotion of the area. 7.Promotion of Local area through the participation in international fairs.

5 5 Expected results 1.Increase/develop competitive advantages through synergies 2.Easier access to knowledge, innovation, research. 3.Targeting bigger markets. 4.Easier networking with private and public organizations. 5.Easier access to infrastructure 6.Lower costs in supporting services etc 7.Effective network and Local Barding Strategy promotion, based on the agrofood business (extended in all economic sectors and create spill over effects in the economy and in society) 8.Creation of a network of enterprises from primary (producers), secondary (manufactures) and tertiary (services and public organizations) sectors – in a vertical and horizontal network, in order to develop the area, promote the total concept and attract investments.“ 9.Use both physical and digital set of nodes to promote innovation in the area. The digital node will give access to a number of easy to use ict tools and the physical node will promote the products of the area, since it will located in a strategic point close to main roads.
