Delete an unsubmitted landing/production report Step 1. The user needs to login to eLandings and locate the unsubmitted report to be deleted Step 2. Locate and click on the Delete Unsubmitted Report link at the top of the reports page Step 3. Users need to enter the appropriate data in each field otherwise they will not be able to delete the unsubmitted report Step 4. Click on the Delete button

Deleting Submitted Reports with and without IFQ Any reports with IFQ that need to be deleted must first be manually backed out by the Enforcement Data clerks Agency representatives should find out why the user needs to have a report deleted, a general explanation is adequate For landing reports, verify the report number and add the issue to JIRA under eLandings Production, request that the report be deleted, provide as many details as possible, and assign it to Julie Knudsen – please make sure you note whether the report has IFQ in it https://kiwi.state.ak.us/jira/secure/Dashboard.jspa

How to Unlock Reports Log in to the Agency desktop application Conduct a search for the report in question Open the report and locate the Trip box in the upper right corner of the screen Click on the Edit Stop Date button The Edit Stop Date dialog box will open Enter a date no more than seven days in advance (the system does not allow for more at this time) Click OK Let the user know the report has been unlocked

Can’t Remember UserID You can look up their UserID in the Agency Desktop Go to Search, Processor Users, enter your search criteria Click on Search button The UserID information will show up in the table below the search box. Double click on the user to bring up more detailed information. Important Note: UserIDs will be disabled after 12 failed attempts at login

Can’t Remember Password? User’s can have their password emailed to them Go to the eLandings website Must enter their UserID Enter the email address used when they registered Click on the email my password button

Reset Password? Administrative users can reset passwords in the Agency Desktop application Find the user through the Search tool Double click on their name to bring up the dialog box Click on the Reset Password button and enter new one We like to encourage user’s to exhaust the “Email my password” method before making changes to their accounts seaLandings user’s need to contact Suja Hall to change their password as there are specific steps they have to follow for it to work

At-Sea Catcher Processors Majority of C/Ps use the seaLandings application for reporting They are required to submit daily production reports via eLandings/seaLandings They use FCP (Floating Catcher Processor) as their port code and it should never be changed to the physical port where they offload At the end of their fishing trip or at offload, they are required to submit a landing report - they can use either the consolidated report or the standard groundfish landing report If a CP plans to land any IFQ species, they are required to call in a Prior Notice of Landing (PNOL) with NOAA Law Enforcement data clerks The PNOL must be called in at least 3 hours before their landing occurs A physical landing must occur in the event Law Enforcement wants to be at the dock to meet the boat The IFQ landing report must be completed within 6 hours of the offload

Consolidated Reports The consolidated report pulls production data from a specific date range and rolls it into a landing report eliminating duplicate data entry The consolidated report function is ONLY used by catcher processors (CP’s) and it is just another method for fishermen to create and submit groundfish landing reports CP’s are not required to use the consolidated report to document their landings – simple groundfish landing reports are perfectly acceptable Industry can report multiple management programs fished in one easy step It can even be used when the vessel uses multiple gear types, they just have to generate a separate report for each gear type used during their fishing trip

State of Alaska Reporting Requirements for CP’s Operating in Federal Waters Required to submit daily production reports using seaLandings/eLandings May use consolidated report feature to create fish tickets Electronic submission only Harvest in Federal waters connected to the CDQ program Required to submit daily production reports using seaLandings/eLandings Required to submit a weekly fish ticket (Sunday to Saturday) May use consolidated report feature to create fish tickets Electronic submission only Catching/processing in State waters of Alaska Required to submit daily production reports using seaLandings/eLandings Required to submit a fish ticket at offload using seaLandings/eLandings May use consolidated report feature to create fish tickets at offload Required to print out fish tickets, sign, imprint CFEC card, and send paper copy to ADF&G

Uber “Super User” Log In This feature enables an agency administrative user to log in and see what the fishing vessel user sees This provides agency administrative staff a “last resort” method of support for complicated reporting scenarios When logged in as a “Super user”, staff should NEVER make any changes to reports or operations You will not be able to see changes made in “real time”, you will have to log out and back in to view any report modifications and you will not be able to see the error messages that the vessel user can see Instructions for using this tool can be found in Confluence under eLandings Program Management
