7 A SSESSMENT M ETHOD Behavioral interview This method will be used to find out if the applicant has teamwork skills, time management skills, and people skills To make sure applicant is telling the truth during interview, we can ask them follow up questions about their stories and how they were feeling Scoring method Will be a rating system of 1-5 1 meaning poor and 5 meaning excellent

Job simulation: This will help to find out if the applicant can hang glide while giving a tour Important to make sure applicant can hang glide for the safety of our customers Scoring method: Another rating system of 1-5 1 meaning poor and 5 meaning excellent Combined score of 10 from both assessments Applicant closest to 10 will be the best qualified new hire

9 O N BOARDING & S OCIALIZATION STRATEGY Start with orientation Will help the new hire get to know more about our company, the employees, our goals and what we expect from employees Will help the new hire feel more welcome to joining our company

10 O N BOARDING AND S OCIALIZATION CONT. Socialize employee By pairing the new hire up with a coworker for a few weeks to help with the transition Good way to give the employee a model or mentor Coworker can help new hire meet other coworkers

11 E VALUATION Look at how successful new hires are Look at how they are performing the job and if the coworkers and customers are happy The two methods used were to find out if the applicant was a good fit for the job and if they were able to do the job If the applicant could only succeed through one method they not considered
