2. Not just a house, but a home…. “Orchid House” Beliu, Romania A world close to you

3. This is one of the first pictures taken of us, just after the house has opened. Six of us are reintegrated in their families. Some of us are here to stay… don’t know how long. But we like it here. You will get to meet us closer.

7. My name is Rafael. I am 4 years old, but in this picture I was 3. I’ve been here for about 2 years. This is my family. Really! Adrian, my brother and Elisabeta, my sister are here also.

8. I am Elisabeta, Rafael’s & Adrian’s sister. I am the oldest and the cutest!

9. My name is Adrian. I am the one with the yellow and green hat. These are my friends: behind me is Florin, next to his sister, Madalina and Catalin is on my left. They are all brothers, but they are here only temporarily until their dad recuperates from alcohol. Their mom is mentally ill.

12. I am Flavius. I like staying close to my mothers. I was only 8 months old when I came here and I don’t know my real parents. Yet.

13. Under special care from a bride-to-be. She got married three days later. Sometimes it feels good to be sick…

14. I am Mircea. I come from a family of 8 children, but only 3 of us are alive. I was 2 years old when I came here. I was not able to walk or talk… but today I am going to kindergarden.

15. I am Robert. I was here since the opening of the house. I was about 2 years old and I was not able to eat solid foods before coming here. I am going to school now, in the third grade…

18. My name is Diana. I am 8 years old. My sister, Lacrimioara, and I are here since the opening. Our mother abandoned us in the hospital and she went to Spain. But we have a new family here.

19. I love sunshine…

20. I am Lacrimioara, Diana’s sister and the oldest in the house... I’m in the fourth grade.

21. I am Gebey. I am 8 years old. I never knew my parents. I love cars.

22. We have many things in common…

23. We love singing, telling and listening to stories….

26. Christmas 2005… We love telling of God’s love.

29. February 2007. There are Evangelistic meetings in our church. Of course we are on the front rows.
