2. Minecraft is a sandbox game developed in Sweden. It was originally only on the computer, but has since been put on the IPod and the Xbox. This guide for starting a new world in Survival includes Three sections. The first is the “First day”. The second is called “Surviving the Night”. The third is “After the First Night Cycle”. Each is about What to do at these different times.

3. After You create your new world in Survival mode, You are thrown into the wild with nothing but a map. The first thing you need to do is collect wood. Be aware, There are 3 different types of wood. Try to only get one type for now, that way you don’t fill your inventory up all the way. After you have collected wood, Start to make a small house to survive the night in.

4. As the sun starts to go down, go inside your house. Make a crafting table, then place it down and make a pickaxe. In the floor, dig down a staircase in one direction, one block down each time. You should soon begin seeing Stone. With your pickaxe equipped, mine the stone. Keep mining until you reach a cave, or your Pick Breaks. Once morning arrives, Destroy the house, and continue on your way.

5. Now you are on your way to find a place to settle down. Once you have found the perfect spot, Build another small house, but a little bigger than your first one. This will be your starting house. After you have finished your house, place down your crafting table. Make a furnace, then go out and kill some animals for food and 3 wool. You will need the wool for a bed. Once it begins to turn night, head back to your house. Go to the crafting table and Make the bed. Place it and sleep.

6. Once morning has come, Go outside and dig another stairway down into the ground. At this point, we are looking for Iron, Gold, Redstone, and the most rare, Diamond. Iron can be found at any level. Gold usually spawns level 25 and below. For Diamond and Redstone, they are around level 10 and under. To mine the iron, you need at least a stone pickaxe. These can be crafted in the crafting table. To mine the Diamond, Gold, and Redstone, you need at least a iron pickaxe.

7. In the end,(no pun intended), your most important goal is to craft Eyes of Ender and find the portal to the end in a stronghold. Once in the end, you must smash the crystals at the tops of the towers before you can kill the Ender Dragon. Once that is finished, you should exit the end by jumping in the new portal. Then, the “Voices of Nature” will appear on the screen. At the end, you will be asked to wake up. To wake up you will have to press B. After that, you have beat the game!
