6 ICT perfect fit for Theory of Expertise (Ericsson et al. 1993) Motivate the learner through improvement in real life performance Take into account the learner’s pre-existing knowledge Allow repetition of the skills multiple times Be accompanied by immediate feed-back Be presented mixed across content areas

7 ICT perfect fit for Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) (Vygostky, 1978)  Learning not only leads development but creates the ZPD, difference between the actual development ( independent problem solving skills ) and the potential development.
