2 Recognises the diversity within public sector and between local data sharing partnerships in terms of organisational design, processes and systems and the need to encourage a range of solutions to enable collaborative practitioner working. 6 Aims and scope of a data sharing Use proven, supported technology – portal approach well established within NHS GG&C, so can be extended to partner local authorities. Address continued reliance on paper - make basic information available to practitioners through easy to use electronic means Create a shared statement of business needs, functional and non-functional requirements Specify components of a technology solution that is fit for purpose, affordable, re useable and sustainable Launch Portal from within agency applications Redesign of interactive multi-agency processes in line with GIRFEC Portal page will include:

7 Progress Agree joint high level requirements between partners Seed Social Care (SWIFT) system with CHI Establish multi stakeholder project team Technical Risk Assessment plus Privacy Impact Assessment Develop solution by NHS GG&C and Renfrewshire User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Sign off NHS GG&C “RBAC” –Role Based Access Control Sign off Service Level Agreement Train initial User Group Go live Spring 2013

9 Next Steps... Establish ‘how’ building blocks can be reused / shared Provide technical products to a ‘national library’ for wider use Transfer building blocks to date to other GGC LA areas to allow the introduction of Portal to a wider user base – West Dun as next area Potentially extend Information Integration to... Adults in Renfrewshire Council include more Social Care information include other partners e.g. Education, Housing. Adhere to local Portal release cycle to introduce new functionality “Beyond Portal” – explore collaborative working using existing systems to integrate business processes between organisations
