Indeed. In the Quran there are 2 forms of this word. One is with the Fatah (on top of Alif) and one is with Kasra (under Alif). If it comes int the beginning it will have a Kasra. But if it comes in the middle it will have a Fatah.
They denied. Root words are ف ر ك كفر means to hide, like hide the truth. Reject or deny the truth or to disbelieve.

You warned them. The root words are ذر ن Note: you should recognize the word, the root.
أ means what but because it is being followed by أم , it means whether. Whether you warned them. The root words are ذر ن. It means to warn, not frightening someone but informing them. To warn with compassion and kindness.

A thick covering or veil. The root is ى ش غ. What does ى ش غ mean? It means to have unconsciousness. What happens when you are unconscious? It’s like a veil on your brain. You are not able to understand or think.

Great. The root is م ظ ع it means bones. Comparing the size of the eyes, heart, and kidney the bones are big or great. Therefore… making عظيم.
