7 MAKING A DIFFERENCE Economic Development delivered (Mar 2013) –610 jobs (net) created and 2,327 supported into work –£82.06 million of physical investment Since 2011, school leaver positive destinations increased from 83.1% to 89.8% Best large European city for foreign direct investment (Financial Times 2012/13)
