1 Working with Jing Step 1: Select capture. Use the cross-hairs to select the area you want to capture. Or you can click and drag the cross-hairs to select an area. Step 2: Select capture video. Cross-Hairs Capture Image Cancel Capture Video Redo Selection Step 3: Mute or unmute the mic. Watch the countdown and begin recording. Step 4: Select stop when you are done. Remember, you only have 5 minutes to record! Step 5: Select the white arrow on the screen to preview your recording. Creating a Video Step 6: Select the Screencast.com option to save your recording. (Select Cancel if you do not want to save the recording.) Save Configure Buttons Screencast.com Cancel NOTE: The Save option creates an SWF which cannot be viewed using Windows Media Player. All files saved, either to Screecast.com or to the computer, can be viewed using History. 2 Creating An Image Step 3: A new view will appear. Use the toolbar on the left of the image to modify it. Create arrows Add text to the image. You can change the font, the size and the color. Change the color of various tools. Highlight Create a frame Undo and Redo Save Configure Buttons Screencast.com Copy Cancel Step 4: Select the Screencast.com option to save your recording. Select Cancel if you do not want to save the recording. Select Copy to paste the image in a document. Working with Jing Step 1: Select capture. 3 Step 7: You will see the Capture Saved window. Your recording has been saved to your Screencast account! Step 8: Using the Jing Sun, select History to see your saved products. Step 9: Login to Screencast.com to view, edit and share your recordings. Step 10: Click on the Jing folder to see your files. Downloading Jing 3. Decide on the Options, accept the fine print and Install. You are ready to start working with Jing!
