3 Clear Objectives:  Objectives must be clear and easy to understand for the student.  Objectives must relate to the given concept/skill to be taught.  Objectives must follow and meet state standards.  See given examples….

4  Students will view a web evaluation form.  Students will successfully complete a web evaluation form for sites viewed for state project. Web Evaluation Objectives:

5 Rubric/expectations  Students must understand the expectations before instruction.  Students should be given a rubric in advance so they understand what is expected from the assignment.  Showing an example of the rubric gives the student a guideline to follow on a given objective/assignment.

6 Evaluation Format Print friendly format for each student. Paired partner activity to complete each section.

8 Evaluating the Content of the website. Circle 1 for the lowest and 5 for the highest rating of the website for content.

9 Display of Websites for resources and research.  Make available for the students given websites to help the student research.  Having websites available for the student helps guide them to the correct information the teacher is expecting.  Websites should be fun and easy to read and interpret.  Colorful websites are eye-catching to the students.

10 Viewing the website. Circle 1 for the lowest and 5 for the highest rating of the website for ease of use.
