A major direction in the development of the Company is the creation of an up-to-date production of general-purpose canned horticultural products and producing products in demand in the market, infant food inclusive. The volume of investments totals to USD 2.5-3 mln. An extra advantage is the availability of free space for creating a logistic system as an additional business direction (the Company is located in the neighborhood of the administrative centre of Vitebsk). In addition to it unpackaged vegetable oil was exported to the Czech Republic. The Government does not participate in controlling prices. The level of prices is determined by the domestic market environment in respect to a definite group of commodities. The Company owns 10 permanent structures and 4 land plots (of which: 2 are leased, 1 – in permanent use and 1 – in temporary use). Minsk Margarine Plant JSC is to be relocated pursuant to the Minsk Master Plan and due to this the investor will be provided with a land plot in a blue-chip area of Minsk with developed infrastructure for implementing a development project.. Major importing countries are Latvia, Germany, Moldova, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan. The Company owns over 20 permanent structures and 8 land plots used on a permanent basis. A major direction in the investment activities of Lida Food Concentrates JSC is the creation of up- to-date production of food concentrates, including at the cost of upgrading the production of dry condiments, food concentrates, etc. An extra direction is upgrading the operating starch production and creation of an up-to-date enterprise for producing modified starches, including those for the oil extracting industry.
