12. Freshman Academic Scholarships Based on high school academic performance and SAT/ACT scores. Scholarships are renewable for up to an additional three years provided you maintain a minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA at TLU. These scholarships are awarded based on full time undergraduate enrollment.

Qualifying students will receive this award in addition to any TLU academic scholarship. Renewal of transfer academic scholarships is based on continued full-time enrollment and the cumulative 2.50 GPA earned at TLU, the number of transfer hours accepted and the number of hours required for the degree. 15. Lutheran Advantage Scholarship ($1,000) Renewable for up to four additional years provided the student maintains a cumulative 2.0 GPA at TLU. Renewal criteria will carry over to the student's academic scholarship as well and replace the standard renewal criteria of three additional years and maintaining a 2.5 GPA. Legacy Award ($1,000 per year) is awarded to full-time students who are dependents of a TLU alumnus/a. Lutheran Clergy Grant ($1,000 per year) is awarded to full-time students who are dependent children of ordained pastors of the Lutheran Church (ELCA, LCMS, WELS, or other) and to the dependent children of others serving on one of the official rosters of the ELCA (AIMS, deaconesses, and diaconal ministers).
