1 Route CC bridge replacement over Caulk’s Creek

2 What is the problem? Large debris consistently collects on the upstream end of the bridge. This causes the water to wear away the concrete at the foundation of the bridge at an accelerated rate.

3 What is the problem? The bridge is more than 75 years old. Portions of the driving surface are wearing away.

4 What is the problem? The bridge over Caulk’s Creek on Route CC needs to be replaced!

5 MoDOT’s proposal MoDOT proposes closing the bridge October through November 2010 Minimizes inconvenience to general public, emergency services and school districts Reduces conflict with St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic project on Long Road next year Reduces conflict with Army Corps of Engineers project on Baxter Road next year Coordinated with Rockwood School District, Chesterfield Police Department and Fire Department All are supportive of closing the bridge
