13 - The University budget: - 2010 total budget – about 70 mln euro - mostly international activities are not calculated separately, ad-hoc decisions - costs of business trips of the staff are partially covered - stimuli for lecturers of English-taught courses - External financing: - foreign grants ( e.g. 2010 – about 750 000 euro - research grants) - partial self-financing of academic mobility by the students and staff - cooperation with business Tools: Finance

20 Main problems Lack of financial resources for internationalization Financing international activities is mainly planned ad-hoc Student mobility is much lower than the mobility of the faculty and PhD students Short-term visits (less than 1 month) dominate in incoming student mobility

21 Main problems Decreasing number of degree-seeking foreign students Only several courses are offered in English (>40) Information about study opportunities in TSNUK should be presented in a more detailed way Dual-Diploma, Mutual Masters, and PhD Programs are under elaboration
