2 Morro and Jasp came to visit your school and talk to you about bullying. This is your chance to show your teacher how much you remember about the play. You will need:  Some paper and a pencil *Remember to write your answers down before moving onto the next slide! Are you ready? Are you set? Is your thinking cap on? Click the red button to begin!

7 Wit Ness wanted to be a hero and stop his school bully from bullying his classmates, but he didn’t know how! So he called on friends, Morro and Jasp, to help him. So, how did you do? Was your answer close? Ready for the next question? Here we go! Click on the red button.

9  Scares Jasp by sneaking up behind and yelling “BOO”  Pulls down Jasp’s pants.  Passes a note to Jasp and gets her sent to the principals office.  Steals Jasp’s rice crispy snacks.  Taunts and teases Jasp.  Tries to start a fight with Jasp.  Calls Jasp mean names.  Makes fun of Jasp to other students. 10 Question # 4 Suddenly, Wit Ness called “stop” and quickly ended Morro and Jasp’s play. He talks to Morro and Jasp about why he stopped the play and the three of them make an important decision. Why did Wit Ness stop the play? What did the clowns and Wit agree to do before restarting the performance? Take a minute, and really think about what happened when Wit stopped the play! Ready? 11 Wit Ness quickly stops the play when Morro tries get Jasp to fight her. He did not want to see any more bullying. He had hoped to stop the bullying but didn’t know how. Morro and Jasp encouraged Wit to keep trying. They suggested replaying the last scene but agreed to work together and do something to address the bullying in the play! This shows that you Do Not want to fight and that you mean what you say. Also, find allies. There is power in numbers, but Do Not get violent! Be assertive, Do Not be aggressive! 23 Divide into four groups; quickly review the following questions  How did Jasp react to Morro’s bullying tactics (Refer to the list of Morro’s behaviours)  What are the 4 different categories of bullying?  Why is it important to walk away from a bully?  What is important to remember when using strength in numbers against bullying? Instructions: 1) The teacher will assign a letter to each group. 2) Create a short skit that presents the worst-case scenario (as described under your groups assigned letter) and find a solution demonstrating the W.I.S.E. steps. 3) Each group must present their skit to the class. 24 Group A A victim gets an email from a bully threatening to spread embarrassing rumours around school. Group B A bully follows a victim down the school hallway, calling them names and pushing them. Group C A bully gathers a group of students to exclude a victim from participating in a game at recess. Group D A victim arrives at school. Everyone is laughing and pointing.
