5 What is the Source Consulting Tool?  A Source Analysis Worksheet is an electronic tool that allows you to enter ONLY the job code of the position being recruited in order to learn the history of how this position has been filled in the past to include - Most common sources utilized to fill the position Average Time to Fill Average number of job bids per posting Total positions filled  A Source Analysis Worksheet also allows you examine different sources to learn more about the attributes of that source. Attributes such as - The Hiring Cost Per Source for that particular source for your team Attrition associated with that source Relocation costs aligned to each source The “diversity ratio” based on the source  Finally, the tool gives you Considerations to examine to further support your decision-making process for the proper source to utilize (based on your capacity) and to recommend to your hiring manager (based on their priorities and definition of success).
