3. CREDENTIAL APPLICATION PACKET If you apply by the deadline, you will be mailed a Credential Evaluation Update by the end of MAY. This update will advise you of any requirements needed before recommendation of your credential. DEADLINE: FRIDAY, APRIL 13, 2007

4. CREDENTIAL APPLICATION PROCESS Mandatory electronic submission is now required by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) Electronic recommendations will not begin until after grades are posted – approximately June 15, 2007

CREDENTIAL APPLICATION PROCESS 1st step  Complete and submit the credential application and recommendation fee by the priority deadline date. 2 nd step  Your file is reviewed to make sure all requirements have been met. After final grades are posted in mid to late June, and we verify that you have successfully completed all Spring semester coursework, CSUSM recommends you for a credential via the web. We anticipate the recommendation process will be complete by the end of June for those students who have met all requirements and submitted applications by the priority deadline date. 6. CREDENTIAL APPLICATION PROCESS 3rd step  CCTC will email you a notification of recommendation for your credential. This notification will provide a link that instructs you to complete your credential application process.  You will also pay fees. Payment by MasterCard, VISA, debit/credit card, or a one-time credit card (available at most grocery stores) is the only option for payment of the on-line recommendation. The fee is $57.00

7. CREDENTIAL APPLICATION PROCESS 3rd step - continued  CCTC notifies the student and CSUSM via email that all fees have been paid and student will be issued a credential.  Within ten to fifteen (10 – 15) working days, CCTC issues notification of credential issuance via email. This email serves as your verification (C-19) letter.

8.
