10 Drivers Education All students MUST take and pass Drivers Education to graduate. However, all students are not required to have a drivers license. We only offer Drivers Education one time at the District’s expense. If your child does not successfully pass Drivers Education, you or your student must pay for this course off campus, at your own expense. Students must be or will turn 15 in the quarter that Drivers Education is assigned to your student. For students who have late birthdays (May- August), they will be scheduled to take this course as a sophomore. Behind the Wheel sessions will now be offered during the school day. It is very possible that your student may be pulled from an elective course on occasion. These sessions will be scheduled by Mr. Creviston.

11 EXPLORE, PLAN and the ACT Explore is the first part of a testing system that goes on to include PLAN and the ACT. Typically, students take the EXPLORE in 8 th and 9 th grades, PLAN as 10 th graders, and the PSAE/ACT as 11 th graders. All three test in English, Math, Reading and Science. However, the material tested in each program gets more difficult. This is why the top scores are different. ProgramGrade LevelComposite Score Range EXPLORE8 and 91 to 25 PLAN101 to 32 ACT111 to 36 There is no fee for the PLAN or EXPLORE test. Administration of the exams will be on our campus.
