The History Of Mobile Phones By Eva Wardlaw

1982 The Mobira Senator was the first mobile phone. It looks very much like a portable radio with a handset connected to the top. 1983 In 1983 the Motorola DynaTAC became the world's first handheld mobile phone. It took 30 hours to recharge. The price at $3,995.

1989 The Motorola MicroTAC was a mobile phone made in 1989. The MicroTAC introduced a new flip design, where the mouthpiece folded over the keypad. The model sold for between $2,495 and $3,495. 1993 We are getting closer to a “modern” mobile phone, as this just about fitted into one hand… granted, you needed particularly large hands. The BellSouth Simon was the first phone with a pager, calculator, address book, fax machine and email.

1998 The Nokia 5110 was one of the first phones to feature the game snake. It was also one of the first phones with a replaceable faceplate, allowing the owners to customize their mobile. 2000 The Nokia 3210 was the first mobile phone to have a internet antenna. 2001 The Sharp J-SH04 was the first phone with a built in camera. Released in Japan, 2001.

2007 The Nokia N95 was one of the most featured phones, they had calendar, camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, MP3 player, Bluetooth, TV and lots more. 2007 The Apple iPhone 3 was also made in 2007 and was the world's first multi touchscreen phone. It has so many features.

2012 In 2012 we made a couple of phones, but in my opinion the iPhone 5 is the best. It is longer than the other iPhones. It has every app you could need and it also has Siri. Siri is a voice that could remind you to do things with out even touching the screen of your phone.
