Prove that adopting Foamstream will work for all of you Aim of today

Thanet Project Aim: To establish guidelines for best practice and solutions for weed control in the UK Headline summary of Results: Everyone must aim to minimise herbicide use Need to show how you will actively try and use less herbicide Definitive, an integrated approach will deliver the best weed control results whilst helping reduce your herbicide use. 7 1985 2015

News flash ……… Herbicide to be banned in the UK What will you do? Why is it being banned?

Be realistic Fraser

All directly influence the need to adopt Foamstream now 1.Knowledge reduction and loss (buyers, specifiers, providers) 2.Perceived lack of alternative solutions 3.A growing number of Direct Industry Threats 3 key areas affecting the UK Amenity Industry:

Attitude to change - Apathy, resistance, fear Social pressure to not spray herbicide Increased Legal pressure to get herbicide application right – more chance of penalty Risk reduction to staff, public, pets and places H&S mitigation New industry guidelines AAS White van man Loss of herbicides from approved list Less decent herbicides On costs - Damages bills for non treatment, plus slip and trips Corporate and Social responsibility Poor management, loss of skills Bad practice (specifying, buying, operating) Fiscal pressures And on… Some examples of the threats to the industry

Quick Summary of what a “herbicide- free” replacement must look like Safe Easy to use – help alleviate the knowledge gap Fit in with legislation and guidance Have same or similar treatment cycles to herbicide Be cost efficient

A key part of the solution sustainable efficient easy to use SAFE sterilises Contact application fast acting It works!!

Who is joining our gang in the UK? These are just the ones I can talk about

Some of our European brothers and sisters now using Foamstream

Don’t take my word for it! I am a sales guy – lets have a look at some of the results

A bit of evidence that FS works Show pictures & quotes

… a bit more evidence What impressed them Traditionally we would use strimming, hoeing and brushing to treat the weed growth, which uses high manpower as it is slow, it requires repeat visits every 2–3 weeks to keep on top of issues, plus strimming does have some safety risks associated. Foamstream has enabled us to reduce the man hours and the treatment cycles, so that overall reduction of hours is considerable (Foamstream requires the use of one person only).

… and a bit more evidence Beneficial Impact The effects of Foamstream are very good and long-lasting, which allows us to monitor fence lines more effectively after treatment. Treatment cycles are estimated at just three per annum.

… and a bit more evidence Recommend Definitely. Superb results – evidence is in the pictures

… and a little bit more evidence Would recommend Yes, Foamstream works particularly well in Southwark because it is a herbicide-free contract and this product allows us to work efficiently and effectively across all areas covered.

Dozens of examples of where Foamstream can be effectively used safely

Some more examples of where Foamstream can be used safely

A few more examples of where Foamstream can be used safely

Wow – More examples of where Foamstream can be used safely

… some invasive weed work

What next? Amenity Assured Standard Working hard with key governing bodies to help bridge any knowledge gaps and make sure we do things right Has 10 golden rules – highlights an “integrated approach” Has best “approved” contractors register Encourages training – BASIS (Hot Foam is now included in the syllabus) Coming soon - a more detailed guideline for best practice to advise on solutions available in specific locations, plants and surfaces

Have I addressed the original aim? Prove that adopting Foamstream will work for all of you We have loads of case studies please ask to see them or if you wish you can happily speak with our “delighted” existing clients. Let me know when I can come and demo to you and your team.

In Conclusion I have been Fraser Higson, I hope that I have helped to inspire you today

Be Brave Pioneer change in your work place Don’t wait – it will be too late Remember

Don’t delay Adopt It is the only viable alternative to Herbicide-Free weed-control & it works great as part of an integrated solution too! Questions please……. Next steps
