2  In three minutes, identify everything you know about the Holocaust.  In two sentences, identify everything you know about concentration camps  In one sentence, identify one reason why we should remember the Holocaust.  In one word, describe WWII

3  1935: two Jewish pupils are humiliated before their classmates. The inscription on the blackboard reads "The Jew is our greatest enemy, beware of the Jew".

5  Scenes of horror at Nazi concentration camps, where people were subjected to medical experiments.

6  Nazi medical experiments: a prisoner is submerged in a tank filled with cold water. The goal of this type of experiment was to check how long German pilots, who had to parachute into the cold north sea, would survive. Different types of clothing were tested, as well as different methods for reviving the experimental subjects who survived.

8  Read over your person’s description and be ready to tell the class at least three facts about yourself and your journey through World War II. Lastly, tell the class if you survived.

9  Look up the definitions prior to reading Night and be able to identify these words within the text.

10  In one paragraph, explain why no one wanted to listen to Moshe. In your last statement, tell me whether or not you would have believe him.

11  Pick one character from the reading whom you fear, trust, hate, or connect with. Describe your character’s personality and explain how you feel about that character.  Characters:  Moshe, Elie, German Officer, Madame Schachter, Martha, Elie’s Dad

12  Why do you believe Elie Wiesel would write about what he experienced? What is his purpose?
