VISION STATEMENT JCPD is the agency that ensures, promotes and protects the rights of persons with disabilities in accordance with National policies, plans and programmes, within the legislative framework. It facilitates the educational, economic and social development of persons with disabilities in Jamaica in a collaborative and participatory atmosphere, through counseling, training, public education and the provision of other relevant services.

ORGANIZATION’S FOCUS : Identifying and registering persons with disabilities in Jamaica. From birth to 59 years Early detection, diagnosis and intervention via ESP Birth to 6 years Vocational training, placement in open or sheltered employment Counselling Follow up Ensure the circulation and acceptance of the National Policy, National Disability Bill & the UNCRPD
