1. 01/03 – 06/03Fabiënne Ruiters

2. Sunday 01/03 We left Maastricht and went to the airport with all the Dutch students. When we arrived in Warsaw I met my amazing host and host family. We went to their house where I got a lot of food before I went to bed. I was really tired because of the trip.

3. Monday 02/03 We went to the school in warsaw where we where all the kids gave us a performance. They were singing, acting, dancing, etc. After the performences we went tot the Old Town of Warsaw where we did a little tour. It was amazing how beautiful it all was.

4. Monday 02/03 After visiting the old city we went to our host’s house where we eat something. Because is was Nils’ birthday we went bowling in the evening with all the students. It was so much fun. We even danced next to the bowling.

5. Tuesday 03/03 Today we visited a lot of buildings and we also walked a lot. We started with a guided tour through Warsaw, so we saw a lot of the city. After the tour we went to the Royal Castle and Staszic’s Palace. It was really beautiful to see.

6. Tuesday 03/03 After seing everything in the city we went to the stadium of Warsaw. I had enver been to an emty stadium before, so I was really impressed about it. We even saw the VIP-rooms and the skyboxes.

7. Tuesday 03/03 After seeing the stadium we decided to go see the film ‘Ida’ in the evening. We went with the whole group, only Remek en Nils didn’t make it becasue they were at the wrong cinema. It was a very special film becasue is was filmed in black and white. After the movie we went home and went to bed. After seeing the stadium we decided to go see the film ‘Ida’ in the evening. 8. Wednesday 04/03 Today we went to the mayor of this district of Warsaw. We asked him questions about Warsaw and he told us a bit of the history of Warsaw. After this we got some cookies, drinks and we got a little present. We made a big group picture and continued with the profgramme.

9. Wednesday 04/03 After we met the mayor we went to Copernicus Centre.It was a big museum were you could to a lot of stuff by yourself. Like experiments. We had a lot of fun being there.

10. Thursday 05/03 Today was our last day in Warsaw. We were all a bit sad becasue we didn’t want to leave. All we had to do today was sit behind a computer to finish our tasks on wikispaces. It wasn’t that much fun but we laughed a lot by making jokes and stuff. We also had a volleyballmatch today against and with some of the studens. Unfortunately we sucked really hard, but is was still a lot of fun to do. Today was our last day in Warsaw. We were all a bit sad becasue we didn’t want to leave. 11. Thursday 05/03 After the programme we decided to do something fun with some of the students. We went to Pałac kultury. We went all the wat upstairs (with an elevater). The view was absolutely amazing!

12. Friday 06/03 We had to get up really early becasue today we would leave. We drove to the airport with our hosts and said goodbye. Unfortunately we had to wait way longer than we thought because our plane wasn’t able to land. But we had the best time while we were waiting.

13. Friday 06/03 After 6 hours waiting we arrived back in Holland. We went back to school by car where our parents picked us up. Is was an amazing week which I will never forget. Warsaw is a beatiful city with wonderful people living in it. I’m going to miss every single person I met and i want to thank everyone for making this week so special.
