2. Buddy Bolden  He was the first of the New Orleans “Cornet Kings”  He was highly regarded by contemporary black musicians  By 1894 he adopted the Cornet Band.  By 1895 he was lending his own pro- group.

3. Freddie Keppard  He was the one of the few innovators of the 1910 era.  In 1906 he lead the Olympia Orchestra.  On 1914 he helped jazz being to Los Angeles.  He wanted to be the first musician to record in 1916.

So you see instead of dying out, it only gets new names.

10. Bunk Johnson  privately recorded in New Orleans  He was discovered He was a major player in New Orleans.  By 1910 he joined the eagle band.  By 1839 the book Jazzman was made.  In 1942 he with the help of Bill Russell.
