11. Charlie Parker He was born in 1920 and died in 1955 Spent his childhood in Kansas City, Missouri His dad worked on the railroad His mom worked 2 or 3 jobs at a time When he was 12 he struggled to play the Alto- Saxophone He became a Saxophonist

12. Billie Holiday Was born in 1915 and died in 1959 Her father was a banjo and guitar player Went to jail Tried to be a dancer in the Harlem Nightclub but FAILED Relatives abused and neglected her
