He was known as the god of wine, agriculture, and fertility of nature.

He was important from the fact that he brought wine to the ancient Greeks.
Festivals were held for him in Athens.

5. What was he like?
Dionysus had two sides, he brought joy and pleasure and he also could bring people rage.
