2 Word 1: Persistent Def: Forcefully demand something be done or be determined to do something Sent: Joe persistently wanted to answer but his teacher Ms. Ruth never called on him.

3 Word 2: Clamber Def: To climb in an awkward, difficult way Sent: Joe clambered on Ms. Ruth’s desk and shouted, “I want to answer that question!”

4 Word 3: Mimic / Mimicked Def: To copy or imitate closely Sent: Ms. Ruth mimicked Joe’s behavior and shouted, “ I want to answer that question!”

5 Word 4: Unaccustomed Def: Not use to something Sent: Joe was unaccustomed to such rude behavior and spit in his teacher’s face.

20 Word 19: Simultaneous / Simultaneously Def: Two things happening at the same time Sent: The principal simultaneously fired Ms. Ruth and expelled Joe.

21 Word 20: Develop / Development Def: How something grows Sent: Joe was a bright student but had developed a hatred for school.
