Main objective and actions - To promote the higher education institutions of Oulu and their international degree education supply internationally: a common marketing plan for Oulu higher education area a common marketing image of Oulu area as a high quality and student friendly higher education destination with versatile study opportunities common marketing actions and materials

- To enhance the cooperation between the different international degree programmes of the universities - To develop the contacts and cooperation with working life Expected result: Increased awareness of the international education supply of Oulu among the local companies and employers. - To develop the processes of international degree students selection Expected result: A tool for assessing the international application documents - To improve the student services of the international degree students Expected results: New student services implemented in cooperation between the universities, i.e. orientation day

MARKETING PLAN - Specified goals: 1. Development of marketing cooperation between the higher education institutions, the international degree programmes and the City of Oulu -> a common marketing plan and image for Oulu higher education area 2. Enhanced attractiveness of the Oulu higher education area especially in the target countries and groups -> common marketing actions 3. Enhanced kowledge about the international degree study opportunities of Oulu in the local companies and other actors 4. MARKETING PLAN -Target areas: Russia (North-West), Suitable EU country, China -Target groups: Potential applicants in the target areas and their parents, current exchange students, potential applicants among the foreigners living in Oulu/Finland, cooperation partners of the universities and the city, staff of the universities and the city, local companies
