6. Facts about teen pregnancy in the U.S. Every 10 mins, a teen in Texas gets pregnant. Every 10 hours, a 14 year old gets pregnant. Every 3 hours, a 15 year old gets pregnant. Every 48 mins, a teen has an abortion. 7 out of10 teen mothers complete high school if enrolled in school, they are more likely to graduate with their class In 2002, teen pregnancy has actually dropped: -African Americans= Decrease in 40% of population -Whites= Decrease in 34% of population -Hispanics= Decrease in 19% of population
