2 Transportation You can travel by Air, Bullet Train (新幹線) Subways, Railways, Taxi, Cars, Bicycles and by walking. Public transportation is the most common and the most efficient way to travel in Tokyo

3 Entertainment Centers The Tokyo Dome is the first stadium to open up. It opened up in March 17, 1988. The Tokyo Dome is one of the leading stadiums in the world and holds up to 60 baseball games yearly. It also hold concerts and is the biggest concert venue in Tokyo. Its not only an entertainment center it is also an amusement park.

4 TOKYO DISNEYLAND  Disneyland opened April 15 th 1983  It was developed into a resort,  Two theme parks,  Six hotels,  Three Disney hotels and a shopping complexes.

5 SONY BUILDING  First opening of the Sony Building was is in 1966  This famous building attracts 5.5 million people every year  Sony Building is a 7 story building with a show case of the world’s leading brands

6 Tokyo Tower ~The Tokyo Tower is an observation tower located in しば park ~The tower is 333 meters (1093 ft) ~Eiffel tower inspired ~Built in 1958. ~150 million visitors ~Second tallest artificial structure in Japan

7 Tokyo Sky Tree Second highest structure in the world. -reaches 450 m (1476ft) -contains an aquarium inside.

8 Odaiba Large artificial island that features environment, restaurants, and shopping complexes. -Located in Tokyo bay -#12 out of 70 in most visited attractions in Tokyo,

9 Harajuku A popular teenage shopping center -located in an area between シンジュク and シブヤ -contains 2 main shopping streets, オモ テサンド and タケシタ -Traces its roots back to the end of WWII.

10 Kabukiza Theater -The Principle theater in Tokyo for the Traditional Kabuki Drama Form -Originally wooden built in 1889(fire destroyed it) -Officially rebuilt in 1950 -effected by the Great Kanto earthquake, and the Allied bombing in WWII.

11 Ginza (meaning Silver Mint) The most famous upmarket shopping, dining, and entertainment district. -1square meter of the district= 10 000 000 yen. -sells $10 cups of coffee. -on weekends the チュードリ street gets closed and becomes a large pedestrian street.

12 Sensoji Temple A Buddhist Temple known as the most colorful and popular temple in Tokyo. The Sensoji Temple is the oldest in Tokyo, which was created in 645. -When first entered, you enter through the Kaminarimon (thunder gate)

13 Kayabukiya Tavern -2 hour drive directly out of Tokyo, located in Utsunomiya. This restaurant contains two monkey waiters aged 4 and 12 that are named フクーチャン, and Yat- チャン
