1 District 7510 International Project Nepal Orphan Project Their future is in our hands! Our pocket change may be their only hope! Help us build their community one child and one family at a time!

2 Nepal Orphan Project A special collaborative project between the District 7510 Rotary Clubs/Rotaract and Interact Clubs and the District 3292 Rotary Clubs and Rotaract Clubs in Nepal.

3 Mission To improve the quality of life for these orphaned children by providing education, healthcare and nutrition. To enable them to lead their communities out of the darkness of oppression and into the light of freedom.

4 World Poverty 1.3 billion people live on less than one dollar a day; 1.3 billion have no access to clean water; For the 1.9 billion children from the developing world, there are:  640 million without adequate shelter (1 in 3)  400 million with no access to safe water (1 in 5)  270 million with no access to health services (1 in 7)

5 Nepal Orphan Project In Nepal, children below the age of 16 make up 41% of the total population. 1.5 million orphans under the age of 17 in Nepal because of disease and civil unrest.

6 Rotary & Rotaract Clubs in Nepal Rotaract /Interact & District Rotary Clubs District 7510 & 3292 Nepalese Org Helping Orphans Through Partnership Education is the transmission of civilization….

8 $50 - Your pocket change can Send one child to school for a whole year. Have regular health, nutritional and growth assessment to support better health and hygiene. Mentor young children

9 Goal for 2008-2009 To sponsor 250 Orphans Donation of $250 or more will meet the criteria for the Presidential Citation for the International Service project.
