14.  On the Speak Out For Species education website it stated that “An estimated 90 percent of all animals used in research are rats and mice, though many other species are also used, including guinea pigs, dogs, cats, rabbits, nonhuman primates, and farm animals” (Problems). This goes to show that there are so many animals out there in laboratories getting hurt and abused. Hopefully this will change many people’s views on animal testing and will make the reader more aware of why animal testing is a horrible thing to do to innocent animals that are also pets and shouldn’t be treated this way.
