8 MINUTES Honored Citizens Bus Program Transit Ambassadors Promoting Independent Seniors Free monthly bus pass to Senior Citizens or persons with disabilities who use Dial-a-Ride 65 years of age Or ADA eligibility Receive a SmartCard bus pass, with their picture Must renew each month Handled by Mobility Coordinator program Regional Mobility Coordinator

10 Regional Mobility Coalition Oct 2011 – Human Services Mobility Coalition Kick-off Apr 2012 – Formed Capital Regional Human Services Coalition Mission Statement A united voice to identify, initiate and advocate coordinated, creative and sustainable ways to assist the citizens of the Capital Region, specifically older adults, persons with disabilities and low- income individuals, attain a better quality of life by increasing their transportation and mobility options.
