General Information * Up to 290 scholarships are available for new students including recent high school graduates * Average award: $825 per semester * Available for the general student population and students pursuing specific programs/fields of study * Merit-based and need-based scholarships available TCC Foundation Scholarships www.tccd.edu/scholarships

2014-2015 Application Deadlines * All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on April 24, 2014 * References must be received by 11:59 p.m. on May 1, 2014 * Students graduating from high school or transferring from another college or university must send an unofficial transcript including the fall 2013 semester. This must be received by 5:00 p.m. on May 1, 2014 * Complete the FAFSA for need based scholarship eligibility at www.fafsa.gov. Completed results must be received by May 1, 2014 www.fafsa.gov * Students graduating from high school or transferring from another college or university must submit an official transcript including the spring 2014 semester. Enter your WebAdvisor username and password then click Sign In. TCC Foundation Scholarships www.tccd.edu/scholarships

Start the general application. When completed hit Finish and Continue and if you still are working hit Save and Keep Editing TCC Foundation Scholarships www.tccd.edu/scholarships

You are required to have a minimum of two references, but may use up to three. You can add or change references by clicking Add a New Reference. TCC Foundation Scholarships www.tccd.edu/scholarships

An essay is required for the general application. Once you have finished click Finish and Continue. TCC Foundation Scholarships www.tccd.edu/scholarships

To view recommended opportunities go to Opportunities and hit the drop down menu. Choose recommended then Apply for available scholarships. TCC Foundation Scholarships www.tccd.edu/scholarships

Scholarship Award Acceptance * Students will log into the scholarship system in August to check on their award status. * Scholarship offers are sent to the student’s TCC email account containing the required scholarship acceptance paperwork. * To accept a scholarship, the paperwork must be completed and returned to the TCC Foundation. * Students will only be offered one TCC Foundation scholarship per academic year.
