4 The best time to visit Yosemite is May and June. The waterfalls dry up due to lack of rain and melting snow. High: 100* F in summer. Yosemite National Park Waterfall

5 There are many types of animals that call Yosemite National Park home. Some of these animals are: Black Bear, Mule,Deer,Marmots,Ground Squirrels and Porcupines.

6 Yosemite is famous for its giant sequoia trees. There are three groves of Giant Sequoias in Yosemite National Park. The sequoias are one of the largest and oldest living things in the world

7 Yosemite has many other plants, too. There are fox tail pines, Western junipers and dogwoods in Yosemite National Park.

8 There are many things to do at Yosemite National Park like: Hiking,Horse back riding,Rock climbing,Biking,Fishing,Bird Watching,Rent a raft for white water rafting and Snow Shoeing in the winter. El Capitan is a favorite spot for rock climbers and hikers. White water rafting is fun.
