The Olympic symbol, better known as the Olympic rings, consists of five intertwined rings and represents the unity of the five inhabited continents (Africa, America, Asia, Australia, Europe). The colors—Blue, Yellow, Black, Green, & Red —over a white field forms the Olympic flag. These colors were chosen because every nation had at least one of them on its national flag.

Medals in the Olympics could as well be about concentrating in the area of your strength. Jamaica’s feat is in Athletics and they currently rule that domain, setting World and Olympic records. In fact, 3 Jamaicans, won Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 200m race. They’ve created already a successive plan of ruling the 100m and 200m in the next Olympics.

London2012 Olympics has come and gone, what remains are the memories.
Some came, competed, conquered and were crowned! Others came but to experience champions do their thing, hopefully one day they will return to be crowned! My country (Nigeria), Came but without a medal to show for it! Next… a presentation on the way forward for the likes of Nigeria so they may be celebrated in years to come.
