Highlights:  Rapid printing: 35ppm  Excellent duty cycle: 150K/month  FPOT: <9 seconds  Optional duplexing  Paper handling: up 16lb Bond – 80lb Cover stock (16-216GSM)  Standard 64 MB memory, expandable to 256 MB (16MB Flash standard)  Intelliprint enabled: Ideal engine for forms requirements and for special functionalities (Private Printing, Job Library, etc.)  List price: $1099

Ideal Customer Requirements The Ideal 9035n customer may have any of the following requirements of their monochrome laser printer  Need for a front or back office transaction printer which can serve medium to heavy duty printing requirements  Forms printing is required, as well as customizable forms handling capabilities  Need for network-ready serial or inkjet printer replacement  Need for customized printing solution with features such as password-protected printing

New Features: Intelliprint Controller The Intelliprint Controller for the 9035n provides users with a wealth of optional features including: Job Library (requires hard drive)  Private Printing: Users can choose password protected printing (user must enter password at printer for the print process to begin)  Saved Job Mode: The print job is held on the hard disk or other storage option until printing is desired  This feature also enables the user to store blank forms in the printer and print those forms on the fly from the printer control panel. The forms are stored in the job library (on the hard drive) and can be utilized by any user – great for busy businesses who have high forms usage!

The Intelliprint Controller for the 9035n provides users with a wealth of optional features including: Job Accounting (requires hard drive) – The Intelliprint Controller will acquire and store certain information about each job that is printed including:  The user (who printed the document)  Pages sent (how many pages were printed)  When the document was sent  How long the document took to print  What protocol the document was sent in and which port it was sent to  The reports can be viewed at the printer, through the web page or as a CSV file Intelliprint Controller Architecture

Intelliprint Controller Architecture (cont’d) The Intelliprint Controller for the 9035n provides users with a wealth of optional features including: Collating (requires hard drive)  When this feature is enabled, multiple copies of the entire document will be printed in sequential order (all pages, e.g. pp 1-4, 1-4, etc.) rather than multiple copies of each page. Custom Paper Sizing  When using the multi- purpose bypass feeder, this feature allows the paper size to be customized within certain pre-set parameters. The 9035 interface panel provides a “window” into your printing

9035n Paper Handling  550-sheet cassette with paper level indicator  150-sheet bypass cassette  Optional: 2 nd and 3 rd 550-sheet paper feeder  Handles media weights between 16lb Bond and 80lb Cover  Handles media sizes from 3”x5” cards up to legal paper  Handles variety of media types including transparencies, postcards, etc.  Direct paper path for critical media printing (e.g. thick paper, envelopes or transparencies)

Design  Small enough for tight spaces (15.9”(H) x 16.6”(W) x 18.3” (D))  With extra tray, add 4” to height  Lower weight makes it easy to move: < 46 lbs.  Top front loading toner cartridges for easy access  Easy access to controller board for quick and easy upgrades with optional Real time clock or Barcode  Fully enclosed paper trays mean that paper is protected

TallyGenicom ServiceProvides the benefit of solid peace of mind and assurance that your printing solutions are robust and always available.

Forms Software Applications The 9035 is the follow-on to the mL260 and is fully equipped to handle all of the forms applications that the 26ppm printer did – and more. For customers with forms requirements, the Intellipress software suite is designed to give incredible flexibility to develop, update and print forms quickly and efficiently – thus improving productivity and increasing the workflow speed. Intellipress allows our clients to eliminate expensive, pre- printed forms and instead rely on TallyGenicom laser printers to produce those forms on an as-needed basis.

Key Features & Positioning Competition

Better cost per page than: - Lexmark ® - Xerox ® - Brother ® - HP ® 9035n Cost Per Page: Cost Per Page

9035n vs. Lexmark T630 Key Arguments: Superior processor speed Parallel standard Lower cost per page

Key Arguments: Superior processor speed Lower cost per page 9035n vs. Xerox 4500

Key Arguments: Longer FPOT Slower Processor speed Lower standard paper handling 9035n vs. Kyocera FS3830N

9035n vs. HP4250N Key Arguments: Lower cost per page Higher standard paper handling Higher max paper weight

9035 vs. Competition

Selling against Lexmark, HP and Okidata > TallyGenicom specializes in providing clients with customized solutions to their printing needs > Enterprise level customers have repeatedly chosen TallyGenicom printers because they were tired of dealing with companies like HP, Dell and Lexmark who simply wanted to get as many printers in the door as quickly as possible. TallyGenicom is most concerned with making sure that the printing solution we provide is specifically tailored to fit the individual business needs of our clients.

Selling against Lexmark, HP and Okidata cont’d Solution Design > TallyGenicom has Fleet Optimization programs which are designed to help the client make the best of the printing resources they have. Implementation > TallyGenicom helps the customer implement and maintain their printing solutions for its lifecycle – the customer can be certain that TallyGenicom’s efforts don’t stop once the printers are delivered.

 Anecdotal evidence indicates that Oki service response levels are not good – Oki pushes “Advanced Exchange Upgrade” for this printer. TallyGenicom service will provide better response.  Lexmark T630 and T632 are more expensive engines when stacked up feature for feature (if you want a 35ppm printer with 700 pages of paper capacity and 64 MB of memory, expect to pay a lot more)  HP printers in general will cost more to operate over time than TallyGenicom printers. Cost of consumables and service is typically 10-20% higher than our offerings. Selling against Lexmark, HP and Okidata cont’d
