14  “Success” is defined as helping students transfer and graduate.  Eliminate reliance on static, printed transfer agreements.  Transfer agreements should involve the multiple entities impacting students.  Successful transfer programs should benefit all so they will be supported, promoted and sustained.

15  Community Colleges provide students with the associate degree and the first two years of the bachelor’s degree.  u.select is used to facilitate transfer advising to effectively and efficiently assist students in achieving their educational goals.  Baccalaureate institutions build on that foundation to provide the students a degree in their chosen major.  Student is the beneficiary.

17  DAPP was created to increase the services and programs for our transfer students by building on our existing relationships, internally and externally.  DAPP is a program for students who choose to begin their DePaul bachelor’s degree at a community college.  External relationships included Harper College and u.select.  Multiple offices and departments within DePaul have active roles in DAPP.
