Break your image down into 3 parts and transfer your image (s) onto 3 separate linoleum blocks. Print each block using a different color to recreate the entire image. This student created an abstract landscape image. Ternes, Studio I Markers, pen/ink on drawing paper, 18 x 24 (Cropped) Markers, pen/ink on drawing paper, 18 x 24 (Cropped) Concept: Make a perfect square with your drawing paper, then fold it till you have 8 ‘triangle” sections. In one of the triangles, create an image using designs, patterns, images, words, etc. Using a light box copy that image in the rest of your 7 triangles and then color/shade your entire image creatively. This student’s image says the word “music” with patterns and designs incorporated in as well.
