7 MUROM Murom was founded in 896. It has a long history. You can see an epic rock when you are coming in. There is a museum of art here. In Oksky park there is a monument to Ilya Muromets (famous Russian athlete, a monk of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra ). Yaroslav and his family historians and church tradition identify with a cross Murom land holy Prince Constantine, Princess Irina. 8 Monasteries and churches of Murom Annunciation Monastery, founded in 1553 By legend the Resurrection nunnery Murom was built in XIII century and connects with the names of saints Murom Prince Pyotr and Fevronia, who lived here, and to bless their visit the hill on which the monastery arose later. 9 KOLOMNA Kolomna - a city in Russia, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the Moscow region, a major industrial center and transportation hub, a river port on the Oka River. It was founded in 1160 years. In the XVI century Kolomna was visited by Ivan the Terrible. At the turn of the XIV and XV centuries Kolomna was the richest city after Moscow. Kolomna’s Kremlin is one of the largest and most powerful fortresses of his time. It was built in six years from 1525- 1531 by order of Basil III.

11 VLADIMIR Vladimir is a historic city in Russia, the administrative center of the Vladimir region, located on the left bank of the river in Klyaz'ma at 176 km east of Moscow. It is the ancient capital of the North-Eastern Russia, part of the Golden Ring of Russia. Vladimir Monomakh laid the city in 1108. 12 SUZDAL Suzdal is a town of Russia, situated northeast of Moscow, 26 kilometers (16 mi) from the city of Vladimir, on the Kamenka River. The history of the town dates back to at least the year 1024. 14 Pereslavl-Zalessky Pereyaslavl-Zalessky, is a town in Yaroslavl located 140 kilometers (87 mi) northeast of Moscow on the southeastern shore of Lake Pleshcheyevo at the mouth of the Trubezh River. It was founded in 1152 by the Rostov-Suzdal Prince Yury Dolgoruky. In 1220 Prince Alexander Nevsky was born in Pereslavl. 16 ROSTOV the GREAT Rostov the Great is one of the oldest cities in Russia, the official chronology runs from 862. It is located 53 km from Yaroslavl, on the shores of Lake Nero. 18 KOSTROMA Kostroma is a Russian city on the Volga River. Kostroma was founded in the XII century, and in the XIII century became the center of an independent principality. The historic center of the city has basically retained a model of its kind ensemble of classicism of the late XVIII-XIX centuries.
