2. From Employment Application to PWCS WorkSpace
The PWCS Online Employment Application is now accessible through the PWCS WorkSpace icon in your Novell Delivered applications
This allows easier access to various areas related to your online application(s) and job search process
If you have never applied through the PWCS online employment application, you will set up your username and password through PWCS WorkSpace
Just follow the directions to register
If you have already applied, you will use your same username and password
If you need assistance regarding your username and password, please call our Employment Service Center at We are open Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

8. Classified Letter of Intent Purpose
The purpose of the Classified Letter of Intent is for you to have an opportunity to:
Verify your personal information
Notify the Department of Human Resources of your plans for the following school year
Allows your work location to project future staffing needs
This intent form does not hold you to a firm decision for the upcoming year, but gives the School Division a projection of staffing needs. If you do submit a resignation/retirement form, you do have five business days to rescind this decision.
The deadline to complete and submit the Classified Letter of Intent is January 27, 2013.

submitted in ESS, these changes will not be reflected on the Letter of Intent. *Remember, your ESS and PWCS WorkSpace will not have the same username and password.

14. Frequently Asked Questions: Letter of Intent
Answer
I changed my address in Employment Self Service (ESS) as the Letter of Intent stated but it is not reflecting the new address on the intent form.
Any changes will not be reflected on the letter of intent. The ESS and Winocular are two different information systems.
I tried using my PWCS WorkSpace username and log in for ESS but it does not work.
Your username and log in for ESS is different from Winocular. Please go to the ESS website located at pwcs.edu under Employment/Benefits for more information.
I don’t know my PWCS WorkSpace username and log in.
Your username and password are the same as your online employment application. An will be sent to you the last week of December to assist with the username and password. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the Employment Service Center at or Live Chat between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

15. Employment Self Serve (ESS)
ESS provides the following services:
Open enrollment wizard for benefits during a specific time period each year
Address changes
Inquires of leave balances
Emergency contact changes
Downloading pay stubs
Downloading W-2s
You have a separate username and password for ESS. ESS is not associated with PWCS WorkSpace. Any changes you make in ESS will not be reflected on your letter of intent.

A service for you to change your address, emergency contact information, address, telephone number, changes in benefits during open enrollment, and view your compensation information.
How do I get to the ESS?
ESS is located on the pwcs.edu website under Employment/Benefits/Employee Self Service.
Or through the Staff menu option from the PWCS homepage.
What username and password do I use to log into ESS?
Your username and password are different from your PWCS WorkSpace username and password.
Your ESS username is the last 6 digits of your social security number and up to 10 letters of your legal first name in all caps. At the ESS website, login directions and a tutorial are available including information on creating and resetting your password.
May I submit my employment application or supporting employment documentations on ESS?
No, this may only be done through PWCS WorkSpace or through the pwcs.edu website using the online employment application.
