16 Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation | UNESCO Chair University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen UNESCO Chair History:  The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation was founded in 1998 as an education and training center for students and alumni of the University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen  The institute was founded as a central scientific institution to cooperate with the different faculties  First activities in the Entrepreneurship Education by the start of the operations of the executive board in the year 1999/2000 History and Current Situation
