4 Courtyard Gathering Space Community Environment: This high school attracts enrollment due to its quality programs and is best accommodated in a new facility that is designed to specifically offer the features needed for these CTE programs. Consolidating a group of career academy programs in one location for better articulation among instructors was our goal. This new facility makes it possible to facilitate curriculum integration efforts within the career center, enhance student/teacher networking and faculty interaction. This new facility will foster successful students who will be better prepared for such outcomes as learning industry-standard skills in preparation for transition to employment and/or community colleges/private postsecondary institutions that offer these career technology programs.
