4. Thomas Edison was a famous inventor. When he was young he sat on chicken eggs to see if they would hatch. He was always curious to see how things worked. He tried to make light for two years. -Nathan

5. The light bulb was one of his inventions. Thomas Edison made this important invention because back then they only used candles. -Shane Thomas Edison

22. Yoshiko Uchida was an important American. Yoshiko’s family followed Japanese customs even though they lived in America.
