10 C ONCLUSION When you are done, take a few minutes to reflect on your learning. How did it go? What would you change? What did you learn? What did you find challenging? Here are some things to consider: When shopping, it’s important to have a budget and know that you must stay within that budget Discounts are a percentage of the price of a product and are deducted from the price of the product Coupons are subtracted from the price of the product Tax is a percentage of your total and is then added to your total When collaborating with others, it is important to be respectful and “work together” like a team, while contributing to the tasks of the assignment and meeting important deadlines All these concepts are ones that you will encounter in the real world
