11  Usefulness of these Industry Codes and.aero ?  Access to information for Passengers These codes are generally well known, from Inside and Outside the Industry: Airline and Airport codes, Flight-Numbers, City-pairs, are easy to remember identifiers, By implementing such naming convention in the Internet world, the Industry provides their professionals and passengers with a worldwide standard, enabling simple and fast access to web applications, from PCs and Mobile Terminals (Mobile Telephones, PDAs) Status of Flights (Arrivals/Departures), Schedules, Bookings, Frequent-Flyer information, Could be directly retrieved, in a « standard » way, anytime, anyplace: in any A/P, for any A/L.aero the Domain of Aviation Dot Aero Council
